About Me

Becca believes in taking a holistic health and fitness approach to an individual's well-being starting from nutrition and physical fitness. She believe yoga is meant for everyone and she offers yoga to all!
Becca became a yoga teacher because she loves the way yoga makes her feel and and the long-lasting benefits of the practice. She learned how yoga can increase muscle tone, strength and flexibility, decrease stress levels, increase awareness, sharpen concentration and calm & center the never system. With all of this goodness that comes from yoga, how can she not share with everyone she knows?
Later, Becca went on to become a prenatal yoga teacher because she knew the birthing person could deeply benefit from a strong body, a happier state of mind and all of the other reasons mentioned above. In addition, she was fascinated how the different shapes the birthing persons put their bodies in can increase the pelvic outlet, encourage baby's decent and optimal position and sooo much more. Then she thought, why not bring yoga off the mat and into the birthing room and beyond? After her research, she learned that there is a huge gap in our birthing culture and bringing baby home. There is the lack of support, choices, informed decision-making, resources and simply space being held. This she knew needed to change.
She wants people to feel empowered and equipped for labor & birth. So with one birth at a time, this will change....because families deserve better and we can do better serving them.
Education, credentials and experience:
When I am not teaching yoga or supporting families, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 3 rescue fur babies. We enjoy all of life's adventures such as: camping, hiking, swimming, surfing (when location permits), kayaking, running, snowshoeing, snowboarding, gardening, cooking, yoga, biking, being in nature and traveling.
